Dancing On Ice 2022: 'Accident-prone' The Vamps singer Connor Ball completes line-up
The Vamps' Connor Ball, from Warwick, completes the lineup for Dancing On Ice 2022 as the show returns to ITV in the new year.
He told ITV News Central he has "knee pads and bubble wrap at the ready."
In a message to his fans, he is pleading for nobody to tell him to 'break a leg' as the accident-prone singer is concerned - he actually will.
Speaking to Roman Kemp, Sian Welby and current Dancing On Ice champion Sonny Jay, Connor added: "I’m excited obviously but I’m really nervous.
"I’m quite clumsy, accident prone. Ice is hard! It was pretty hard to keep the secret. The rest of the band know. They’re super excited for me."
Connor joins a line-up that includes the previously announced Coronation Street legend Sally Dynevor, Happy Mondays dancer Bez, Paralympian Stef Reid, Love Island’s Liberty Poole, rugby star Ben Foden, Popstar and actress Kimberly Wyatt, Paul Gascoigne’s son, Regan Gascoigne, pop star Rachel Stevens, professional dancer Brendan Cole, presenter Ria Hebden and BMX Olympic silver medalist Kye Whyte.
Twelve celebrities will be taking on the challenge and skating live each week with their professional partners as they try to impress both the panel and the viewers who will ultimately decide who wins the show.
