Police return to scene of Sutton Coldfield rape investigation on one week anniversary
A week after a woman was attacked and raped in Princess Alice Park in Sutton Coldfield, officers were back there today to appeal for information
The woman was attacked in Princess Alice Park on the evening of October 3rd.
Detective Superintendent Anastasia Miller said: "She is safe now. It was a horribly distressing, violent attack. It was a rape and we are doing everything we can do to find the offender."
"We know that every woman has the right to feel safe whatever time of night they choose to go out, whatever they are doing, wherever they are. So absolutely we are going to bring this offender to justice".
Canvassing continued at a nearby retail park as the police appealed for the publics help.
The wanted man is white, between twenty and thirty-five with broad shoulders and a Birmingham accent.
