Pride lights up the streets of Leicester

Leicester's Pride festival has returned today after being cancelled last year because of the pandemic.

Thousands attended the parade designed to promote equality and remove discrimination against the LGBTQ+ community.The streets were lit up again and as the parade made its way through the streets, the city pulsated to the carnival rythmn. 

Losing Pride last year meant that today was even more special for some.
