Mum whose son was stabbed to death is crowned Pride of Britain Fundraiser of the Year in the Midlands

Lynne Baird from Birmingham has been crowned Pride of Britain Fundraiser of the Year in the Midlands.

Lynne set up a foundation in memory of her son Daniel, after he was fatally stabbed on a night out with friends. The foundation has created bleed control kits, which can help save precious time until paramedics arrive at the scene of a stabbing and can prevent catastrophic bleeding.
