Broad becomes only the second England bowler to reach the milestone.

He follows teammate James Anderson, who achieved it in 2017, by dismissing Kraigg Brathwaite against the West Indies, just like Broad.

Stuart Broad went to at Oakham School in Rutland, where he played for the cricket first team at the age of just fourteen.

His former teacher Frank Hayes, remembers the first time he saw him play.

He is also only the seventh bowler ever to take 500 test wickets.
