School road markings repainted outside Wolverhampton school closed a decade ago
School road markings have been incorrectly repainted outside an old school in Wolverhampton - which has been closed for more than a decade.
The 90-meter warning that reads 'school - keep clear' has been repainted outside the old Tettenhall Wood School.
17 homes now occupy the site where the school used to be, but it still did not stop contractors from repainting the markings.
The City Council says the re-marking was completed in error, as road workers carried out routine maintenance work in the area. They are now arranging for them to be removed as soon as possible.
