This the latest information (July 1) on new Covid-19 cases in England, by local authority area, published by Public Health England.

It shows the rate of new cases in each area, per 100,000 population, based on tests that have been carried out in laboratories and in the wider community.

The data is for the week ending June 21, and Leicester can be seen right at the top, while Leicestershire is much further down.
