Birmingham woman arrested following death of two men after a lockdown street party

A 32-year-old woman from Birmingham has been arrested on suspicion of the murder of two men at a lockdown street party in Manchester.

Police were called to Caythorpe Street in Moss Side just before 1:00am on 21 June (Sunday).

36-year-old Abayomi Ajose and 21-year-old Cheriff Tall were taken to hospital with gunshot wounds and both later died.

The woman remains in custody for questioning and Greater Manchester Police are continuing to appeal for information.
