Human remains in Malvern identified as missing man
Human remains found in Newland near Malvern have been identified as Matt Bone, who has been missing for two years.
Matt was aged 26 when he went missing on March 11 2018, whilst visiting the Malvern Hills.
He had checked into a local hotel, the Stanbrook Abbey, two days before he was reported missing.
Human remains, found by West Mercia Police on June 12, have now been formally identified as the 26-year-old.
Detective Inspector Beth Wells said "his family have been informed and specially trained officers are supporting them through this tragic time".
Matt's family has thanked the public for their support over the last two years.
The death is not being treated as suspicious.
