'I've been given a second chance': Coronavirus survivors and their partners relive a near-death experience

Two Coronavirus survivors, and their husbands, look back at their journeys.

From the moment the ambulance arrived, to the calls saying their loved ones wouldn't make it, to the joyful reunions when they were well enough to come home.

[Sally Perrin](http://65-year-old coronavirus survivor from Shrewsbury is applauded off hospital ward by NHS staff who saved her life) was applauded by NHS staff as she was discharged from the Royal Shrewsbury Hospital.

She'd spent four weeks in intensive care and a further three weeks recovering on the Respiratory Ward - an experience which rocked the lives of her family.

The mother-of-five, who has three grandchildren, is married to Dave, and has been told it will take a year to fully recover.
