Sales of Stilton cheese have plummeted during the coronavirus pandemic.

Despite the popularity of the East Midlands'-made product, sales have dropped due to coronavirus.

The cheese-makers say that this is because of the closure of the hospitality industry, and the cancellation of major sporting events.

Cropwell Bishop Creamery in Nottinghamshire has had to scale back production, which impacts on suppliers and staff.

However, they have since put more energy into online sales which are doing well, and local people are continuing to support the cheese shop while social distancing.
