Coventry City promoted to the Championship

Coventry City has been promoted to the Championship. It's their second promotion in three seasons, and it's happened in the most unusual of circumstances due to COVID-19.

The news has been welcomed by Cllr George Duggins, Leader of Coventry City Council and Cllr Gary Ridley, Leader of the Opposition Conservative Party, Coventry City Council who congratulated the football club in a joint statement.

The promotion is being celebrated in households across the Midlands.
