Litter seen dumped in parks after people gather to enjoy sunshine
A considerable amount of litter appears to have been left at parks in our region over the weekend, as people headed out to enjoy the sunshine.
At Cannon Hill Park in Birmingham it was reported by a user on Twitter that the Fire Service were involved in the clean up.
A video posted to a different Twitter page @BirminghamWeAre this morning (31 May) appears to show the full extent of the litter left by park-goers on Saturday.
It comes as councils across the East and West Midlands urged residents last week to be mindful and take their rubbish with them when visiting parks and beauty spots.
From tomorrow (Monday), groups of up to six people from different households will be able to meet outside in England.
