A two-minute silence will be held in honour of a dedicated Birmingham nurse who reportedly died from coronavirus.

Victor Dinoo, a father-of-three, died in Leicester on Sunday (May 24th).

Mr Dinoo was a 'highly-valued and respected' senior nurse from the Clinical Site Team for Solihull, Heartlands and Good Hope Hospitals, where staff said he 'would be greatly missed'.

Colleagues will hold a two-minute silence and prayers at Heartlands Hospital tomorrow (May 29), at 11am.

A fundraising appeal has been launched in memory of Mr Dinoo. It had an initial target of £1,000, and has already raised more than £4,000, less than 24 hours after being launched.

Other friends and colleagues of Mr Dinoo paid tribute - telling how he had left 'lasting impressions' and 'would always make people laugh', even during the hardest of shifts.
