Man arrested after woman and baby injured

Police have arrested a 32-year old man on suspicion of attempted murder after a woman and baby were found injured. Officers were called to a house on Mansion Drive in Tipton in the early hours of this morning (28th May).

A seven-month old child was found in a serious condition, and was taken to hospital. Police are describing it as a "domestic incident".

A 37-year old woman was also taken to hospital for her injuries.
