Large fire breaks out at Langar Airfield Industrial Estate

A huge fire has been reported at Langar Airfield Industrial Estate, with 15 fire crews at the scene.

Eye-witnesses reported hearing explosion sounds originating from the scene near Langar Airfield.

Pictures of the blaze have been captured by @FoxFly11 on Twitter.

Residents in the area are advised to keep their windows and doors closed as crews work to extinguish the fire.

As of this evening, Nottinghamshire Fire Service say the blaze is under control.

It took 15 appliances, with one High Volume Pump, three Water Carriers, one Command Unit and approximately 90 Firefighters from three different Fire Service's to put the fire out.
