More than half of frontline NHS workers feel so stressed they are unable to cope during the pandemic

An ICU nurse and a healthcare assistant at a Midlands Hospital Trust have been speaking to us about the personal and emotional impact of the pandemic.

More than half of frontline NHS workers say they felt so stressed they were unable to cope, due to increased pressures from the coronavirus pandemic.

11% of those surveyed by ITV News and the Doctors' Association even said they had experienced suicidal thoughts.

They told us how their work load has changed and how they're trying to cope.
