Tributes paid to nurse who dies at Birmingham’s Heartlands Hospital after contracting coronavirus

A nurse who was “a respected and loved member” at the University Hospitals Birmingham NHS Foundation Trust has died after contracting COVID-19.

Mahadaye Jagroop - known as Mary - died at Heartlands Hospital last Wednesday (22nd April).

It’s the same hospital where she treated patients fighting the virus.
