Bakers aim to raise thousands for the NHS

An Instagram account encouraging people to bake and raise money for the NHS has already succeeded in raising £1,500.

The account, called @raise.some.dough was set up by three people, including one person that is currently living with family in Warwick during lockdown.

@raise.some.dough encourages people to bake, then dough-nate (donate) £5 to the NHS, and then nominate 5 other people to do the same.

The account is aiming to fundraise £5,000 for the NHS this way, and has already raised £1,500 of their whole target.

On their fundraising page, they say that what you choose to bake "doesn’t need to look good, it doesn’t even need to taste good, but you WILL be doing good."
