Hundreds of tributes to businessman who died from coronavirus
Hundreds of tributes have been paid for a well-known businessman who has died from coronavirus.
Raj Aggerwal, who was 51, died on Thursday (9 April), after a short battle with the disease.
He was well known for running Spar shops in Wigston in Leicestershire, as well as some in Sheffield.
He died just days after voluntarily delivering supplies to NHS staff at hospitals.
In one of his last posts online, Mr Aggerwal spoke with pride about his volunteer work, taking items to Glenfield Hospital in Leicester.
He's been described by people who knew him as 'permanently smiling' and willing to go above and beyond to help people who are less fortunate.
He donated food to the homeless in South Yorkshire every week too.
Raj ran the Spar stores with his wife, Sunita, as well as the Insomnia coffee shop in Market Harborough, Leicestershire.
