Man jailed after stealing laptop and banks cards from car of a District Nurse

A man has been jailed after stealing a laptop and banks cards from the car of a District Nurse.

Gareth Gilson, 37, was arrested after officers were called to Wootton Close, Bilborough on March 31.

They had responded to reports of a District Nurse's car having been broken into.

After taking the bank cards, 37-year-old, of Minver Crescent in Aspley, used them to purchase items from shops across the county.

Appearing at Nottingham Magistrates' Court on Friday (March 3), Gibson pleaded guilty to theft and fraud by false representation.

He was jailed for 16 weeks.
