Charnwood MP self-isolating as he awaits coronavirus test results

Charnwood MP and health minister Edward Argar has put himself into self-isolation while he waits for the results of a coronavirus test.

He has self-isolated as a precautionary measure after he had dinner with his Conservative party colleague Nadine Dorries in Westminster last week.

Nadine Dorries has recently revealed that she has tested positive for Covid-19.

Edward Argar, who was first elected as Charnwood MP in 2015, has reportedly spoken to the Chief Medical Officer and is following guidance.

The 42-year-old Conservative MP became a health minister in September this year.
