Nottinghamshire fish and chip shop, The Cod's Scallops, scoops second national award of the year

Nottinghamshire fish and chip shop, The Cod's Scallops, has won a second national award having won Fish and Chip Shop of the Year at the National Fish & Chip Awards in January.

This time, the East Midlands chippy scooped the top prize in the Fish & Chip Shop Class at the British Pie Awards for their chicken, leek, and ham pie.

The Cod's Scallops shops are located in Wollaton, Carrington, Long Eaton, and Market Harborough.

This is the second year that the fish and chip shop won top prize in the category at the British Pie Awards, coming first in 2019 with their steak and ale pie, and their vegan Balti pie also coming as runner up.
