Nottingham Forest owner: Coronavirus has "visited" me

Nottingham Forest majority owner Evangelos Marinakis has revealed on social media that he is following the advice of doctors after contracting Coronavirus.

The Greek businessman claimed in an Instagram post that 'the recent virus has "visited" me and I felt obliged to let the public know.'

Following the announcement, the EFL have released a statement.

The 52-year-old is also the owner of Greek side Olympiacos who play Wolverhampton Wanderers in the Europa League last 16 match on Thursday (12 March).

He went on to say "I feel good as I take all the necessary measures and I discipline to the doctors instructions. I strongly advise all my fellow citizens to do the same. I wish all a quick recovery."
