No more autographs or selfies for Wolves players

Wolverhampton Wanderers F.C.have issued a statement to say that their players and staff should avoid unnecessary meetings, lunches, public engagements and fan interactions- Including selfies and autographs.

It comes as the club say that they are taking positive steps to reduce the risk of its community's health amid the coronavirus outbreak in the UK.

Wolves say they're monitoring the development of the virus closely after the UK Chief Medical Officers raised the risk to the public from low to moderate.

The club said they understand that the measures will prove disappointing for some supporters but they have stressed that it is a temporary measure.

Wolves say they're dedicated to protecting the wellbeing of the Wolves squad and its a decision that was not taken lightly.

Players are also being told to "avoid shaking hands where a warm smile and personal greeting will suffice."

Information posters on hand-washing and sanitisation have been put up at Molineux during fixtures in an attempt to achieve "excellent hygiene in the wider Wolves community".

Staff and visitors are also being encouraged to use hand sanitisers which are available at all entrances at Compton and Molineux, on all dining tables and in every bathroom.
