Teenager pleads not guilty to murdering 17-year-old in Leamington Spa

A 16-year-old from London has pleaded not guilty to murder, attempted murder, and kidnap, in connection with the fatal stabbing of 17-year-old Nasir Patrice.

Patrice, from Birmingham, died at the scene of the murder in Tachbrook Road, Leamington Spa, at about 11am on 15th January 2020.

The boy, who cannot be named because of his age, also entered not a guilty plea to perverting the course of justice by disposing of or destroying evidence relating to the death of Nasir Patrice.

An 18-year-old man also suffered a stab injury in the incident.

The alleged killer appeared in the dock at Warwick Crown Court alongside three other teenagers from London, who face charges of kidnap and doing acts tending to pervert the course of justice.
