Three people seriously injured in crash

Three people were taken to hospital with serious injuries after a crash involving two cars in Birmingham.

Emergency crews were called to Bromford Road in Hodge Hill at around 8.30pm on Monday evening (17th February).

Two men and one woman had to be freed from their cars by the fire service. They were treated at the scene by paramedics, before being taken to hospital.

The drivers of the cars, both men, were treated for serious injuries. One was taken to Queen Elizabeth Hospital, whilst the other was taken to Heartlands Hospital.

The third patient, a woman, was treated for potentially serious injuries and also taken to Heartlands Hospital.
