Two taken to hospital after gunshots fired
Investigations continue after two men were injured following reports of gunshots in Enderby yesterday evening (16 February).
Officers were called to Blaby Road in Enderby at 7.45pm on Sunday, and armed officers were deployed to the scene.
A number of men were reported to have been in possession of guns in vehicles and gunshots were heard.
Two people were taken to hospital as a result of the gunshots being fired, but neither are believed to have life-threatening injuries.
A silver Mitsubishi vehicle has been recovered in the area of Ashton Drive.
Damage had been caused to the vehicle which is believed to have been caused by the use of a firearm.
Initial reports also described three other vehicles in the area. They were two dark-coloured BMW vehicles and a silver Audi vehicle.
Officers remain in the area this morning gathering information, carrying out enquiries and offering reassurance to residents.
