Overnight:A dry, but cloudy start to the evening, with clear spells developing later. It will feel chilly under these clear skies, which could lead to patchy frost.

Today: A dry and bright start, however, cloud will thicken through the morning. A band of rain will push across the region during the afternoon bringing strong winds and heavy bursts.

Outlook for Saturday to Monday:Turning wet and very windy on Saturday, with gales. Remaining unsettled Sunday with further spells of heavy rain and strong winds. Rain clearing to sunny spells and blustery showers Monday.
