First Storm Ciara, now the Midlands is hit by snow

Not long after the Midlands was hit by Storm Ciara, we're now experiencing snow in some parts of the region.

Snow is now falling across parts of the north Midlands, and it's expected to move eastwards through the afternoon, before clearing in the east on Monday evening.

There is expected to be mostly low levels of snow, but 1-3 cm is possible in some places.

The Met Office says that some roads and railways are likely to be affected as a result.
