Teen knocked out after part of ceiling falls on him in college toilets
A teenager was knocked out for 'about eight minutes' after part of a ceiling fell on him in a college toilets.
Tarik El Mousfir, 17, was knocked to the floor in the lavatory at around 10am on January 30.
He said he had bent down to pick up his earphones when the debris started falling at Leicester College's Freemen’s Park campus.
The 17-year-old then got up and reported it to his teacher but was told to go to reception, where he was given ice for his head and neck.
Tarik was then advised to go back to class but a few minutes later he collapsed.
The teen was passed out for nearly 10 minutes and said when he came round he was in an ambulance.
Tarik hasn't been back to college since the incident and is recovering at his home in Leicester.
Leicester College have said they are investigating the circumstances surrounding the incident.
