Teen charged over murder in Leamington Spa

A 16-year-old boy has been charged with the murder of a 18-year-old man in Leamington Spa.

Nasir Patrice, 17, was fatally stabbed in Tachbrook Road on 15 January.

The boy, who cannot be named for legal reasons, has been charged with murder, attempted murder, possession of an offensive weapon, kidnap and attempting to pervert the course of justice.

Richard Talawila, 18, from London, has been charged with kidnap and attempting to pervert the course of justice.

Both males are appeared at Warwickshire Magistrates’ Court on Monday morning (27 January).

Nasir, who was from Birmingham, died at the scene.

His family released a statement through the police at the time of his death.
