Seven African lion cubs born at safari park

Teams at West Midland Safari Park are celebrating the imminent public debut of two litters of African lion cubs.

Two mums, Scar and Amber, gave birth to seven cubs between them back in August and September last year.

Scar's cubs have been called Hunter, Hercules and Hernatty. Amber had Harabi, Hodge, Havoc and Hira. All animals born at West Midland Safari Park have been named with the "H" since 2019.

The playful cubs are now getting ready to meet the public from February's half-term break.

Over the next few weeks, the park's keepers say they will start to introduce the cubs to the rest of the pride, including their dad Tsavo and uncles Jilani and Jengo.
