Cat survives 125 mile journey from Birmingham to London - hidden in car engine
They say cats have nine lives and this one certainly used one of hers on Christmas Day.
She was found in the engine of a car after it was driven 125 miles from Birmingham to London.
Staff from the Celia Hammond Animal Trust were called after the driver heard miaowing and found the little white and tortoiseshell cat in the engine compartment.
Staff have shared the above photograph on Facebook and are checking lost sites in Birmingham in the hope someone has flagged her up as missing.
Cat lovers have praised the quick-thinking actions of the local people who spotted her in East London.
One posted: "Thank goodness for the kindness of the people outside the flats."
Another added: "So glad she is safe thanks to the kind people for the right actions taken. Thanks to you too for looking after this little one."
