10-year-old girl killed in Bulwell ambulance collision named as Shaniqua Loftman-Smith

A 10-year-old girl who died in hospital after a collision with an ambulance in Bulwell has been named by her family as Shaniqua Loftman-Smith.

The ambulance was responding to an emergency call at 6.30pm on Sunday 22 December in Low Wood Road, between Hempshill Lane and Seller’s Wood Drive, Bulwell.

The girl was a pedestrian.

Nottinghamshire Police have offered their condolences to the girl's family, who have asked for privacy at this difficult time.

Enquiries are ongoing into the circumstances surrounding the incident.

Officers from Nottinghamshire Police’s Serious Collision Investigation Unit are still appealing for anyone who witnessed the collision, has any information or dashcam footage.
