Train strikes are suspended but amended timetable remains in place

An amended timetable will be in place across the London Northwestern and West Midlands Railway networks on Saturday (7 December). Passengers are being advised to check times before they travel.

West Midlands Trains and the RMT have formulated a settlement agreement covering the role of conductors on the new trains, meaning Saturday strike action has been suspended.

However, the agreement has come too late to withdraw Saturday’s amended timetable.

The agreement will be subject to a workforce referendum but in the meantime, the remaining strikes have been suspended.

The outcome means that Saturday’s strike has been called off, but an amended timetable will run and passengers are advised to check before they travel.
