Two charged with murder after man fatally stabbed in Lozells
A man and a woman have been charged with murder today (19 November) after a 27-year-old man was fatally stabbed in Lozells in Birmingham. It happened on Sunday 17 November.
Police officers found Mazammal Mahmood Butt with serious injuries in Lozells Street just before 3.30pm, and he was confirmed dead before he arrived at hospital.
A post-mortem examination found that he died from a single stab wound.
Mobeen Shahzad, aged 27 from Lozells, and Sheridan Fitzsimmons, aged 28 from Highgate, will appear at Birmingham Magistrates Court today charged with murder.
