Man arrested following cat attack
Police have arrested a man who is suspected of letting a dog loose to fatally maul a cat.
The 30-year-old man was wanted for questioning following the attack which happened in Woodlands Crescent, Pelsall, on 23 October of this year.
He was arrested from an address in Walsall on suspicion of cruelty to animals on November 12. He remains in police custody.
Chief Superintendent Andy Parsons, from Walsall police described the event as "a horrifying act of cruelty on an innocent animal."
