Suspicious device found in an empty property in Pendeford, Wolverhampton

A road in Wolverhampton has been evacuated after a suspicious device was found by a council worker in an empty property.

A bomb disposal team made their way to Wheatsheaf Road in Pendeford yesterday evening.

Residents have been temporarily relocated to the Dovecote Housing Office on Ryefield.

Wolverhampton Police have apologised for any inconvenience caused.
