Thank you card and £5 for a hot drink left for paramedics in Birmingham

A kind stranger left a thank you card and a £5 note on an ambulance, so that the paramedics could get a hot drink.

West Midlands Ambulance Service tweeted that two members of the ambulance service, Beverley and Sarah, found the card and money on the ambulance windscreen.

The gift was left anonymously, 'to say thank you for the work' those in the emergency services do.

In the card, the anonymous writer says they enclosed the £5 note 'for a cupper [sic] on me'

West Midlands Ambulance Service said on Twitter that the gesture was 'very much appreciated.'
