Mum loses almost 10 stone after being inspired by her twins

A mum from Derbyshire who was nearly 22 stone at her heaviest was inspired to lose almost ten stone so that she could play with her children.

Sam Holmes struggled to play with her adopted young twins, Hunter and Francheska because of the weight.

The 33-year-old who lives in Littleover, says she was inspired to lose weight in early 2017 because she wanted to be fit enough to enjoy walks and play hide-and-seek with her young children.

She lost 9st 8.5lbs in less than two years, reaching her target weight by September 2018.

Sadly Sam's son, Hunter, who had cerebral palsy, died at the age of three in October last year.

Sam says she's grateful that her weight loss allowed her to make the most of the time she had with him.
