Heavy rain is causing waters to rise quickly in Sileby, Rothley, Mountsorrel Swithland and surrounding areas,

There are currently 6 flood warnings in place, which is the second highest level of warning. They are at these locations:

• Grace Dieu Brook at Whitwick and Thringstone

• River Mease at Clifton Campville, Harlaston and Croxall

• River Sence from Temple Mill to Sheepy Magna

• River Wreake at Frisby-on-the-Wreake

• River Wreake for mills at Hoby, Thrussington and Ratcliffe

• Wood Brook and River Soar at Loughborough
