Woman in a serious condition in hospital after carjacking
A woman is in hospital with serious injuries after being run over following a carjacking.
Police were called to the incident on Boden Road in the Hall Green area of Birmingham just after 5.30pm on Wednesday (11 September).
A man was approached by a group of masked men who demanded he got out of his car by as he parked on a driveway.
The driver reportedly fought back, before being assaulted and thrown from the car.
The group reversed the stolen Mercedes from the driveway and hit a woman pedestrian on the pavement before speeding from the scene.
The woman suffered multiple serious injuries and remains in the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Birmingham.
