Teacher who learnt 'the shuffle' dance goes viral
A Birmingham teacher filmed himself dancing after his first week back in class 'to cheer himself up' - and now it's gone viral.
Omar Akbar, 38, filmed himself doing 'the shuffle' after 'an overwhelming' week.
The science teacher posted the video to social media - and it has nearly half a million views on Twitter.
Omar works at a school in South Birmingham and said he learnt the shuffle to help with his 'well-being'.
He said: "The first week of term always feels a lot longer than the rest.
"I wanted to cheer myself up so I stayed behind after school and learnt the shuffle.
Omar, who has been a teacher for 13 years, is also an education author, he has published two books called The Unofficial Teacher's Manual and Bad School Leadership (and what to do about it).
