Professional golfer James Wright has completed 31 marathons in 31 days - one in every day in August - to raise money to help save Acorns Children's Hospice in Walsall.

The hospice provides specialist nursing care for babies and children with complex needs. The charity is needing to raise £2million to keep the centre going.

James's incredible achievement of running a marathon every day in August is helping raise thousands towards the total, with an estimated £7,000 raised so far.

Part of his training involved a 65-mile run in July, and he says that each day the marathon-length runs have become easier, despite some of them taking place after a full day at work.
