Khun Aiyawatt succeeds father as new chairman of Leicester City
The son of the former chairman of Leicester City who died in a helicopter crash has become the new chairman of the club.
Aiyawatt Srivaddhanaprabha succeeds his father, Vichai Srivaddhanaprabha, while his brother, Apichet takes the role of Vice Chairman.
Khun Vichai was killed with four others when his helicopter crashed to the ground shortly after leaving Leicester City's stadium after a match on October 27th last year.
Speaking about his new appointment, Khun Aiyawatt said:
The Srivaddhanaprabha family have wholly owned Leicester City for ten seasons, with Khun Aiyawatt becoming the 31st chairman in the history of the club.
