Councils paid out £3,000,000+ in child sexual abuse compensation claims
Nottinghamshire County Council and Nottingham City Council failed children in their care for more than five decades.
Today, the Independent Inquiry into Child Sexual Abuse has published its report on the response to allegations of child sexual abuse of children in the care of both councils.

Number of cases paid: 64
Number of cases concluded without payment: 0
Number of cases pending: 16
Total amount paid in compensation: £347,786
