Meet the woman with a rare allergy to the cold
One day in 2009, Max Fisher broke out in a severe rash. Ten years later Cold Urticaria - a rare allergic condition - still rules her life.
Exposure to anything cold - whether it's a cool breeze, a fridge or even tap water - could trigger a potentially lethal anaphylactic shock
Max, from Sherwood in Nottingham, has to wear a face mask to protect herself from the cold air.
She says she recently suffered a bad reaction in a pharmacy where the air conditioning was blasting out. Her face puffed out, she was in pain and her eyes were swollen shut.
She's now asking store-owners to be more considerate.
