Body of 21-year-old man recovered from reservoir

The body of a 21-year-old man has been recovered from a reservoir Staffordshire.

Police were called to reports that two people had got into difficulty while in the water at Chasewater Reservoir in Burntwood at around 6pm on Sunday.

A young girl made it safely out of the water but the man died.

Officers were called to the park at around 6pm today following reports two people had got into difficulty while in the water.

Emergency services including West Midlands Ambulance Service, Staffordshire Fire and Rescue Service and Staffordshire Air Ambulance all attended.
