Tony Iommi and Geezer Butler launch Black Sabbath exhibition in Birmingham

Hundreds of heavy metal fans have been in Birmingham on Wednesday afternoon to see the unveiling of a bench.

But it's not just any bench - this one over the canal on Broad Street is on the newly named Black Sabbath bridge - and it celebrates the contribution the band has made to music.

Heavy metal fans will be able to visit the Black Sabbath exhibition for the first time in the city of the band's birth.

Guitarist Tony Iommi and bassist Geezer Butler were the first people to sit on the bench which bears their images.
